VNA - The Face of Care | VNA - Visiting Nurse AssociationThe VNA Breast Cancer Treatment Support program is dedicated to providing services that empower women undergoing treatment so they can focus on recovery.This program provides the following at no cost to women undergoing treatment for breast cancer:•For Douglas and Sarpy County residents: Companion non medical care services such as lighthousekeeping, meal preparation, and other services.•For Nebraska residents: Financial assistance for day-to-day expenses, such as utilities, or otheressentials.A trained VNA representative will work one-on-one with you to move forward in your recovery, whether inperson or over the phone, to determine your needs.This new VNA/Komen partnership can help women in Nebraska by providing a limited amount of supportivecompanion/homemaker services in your home with the assistance of a VNA HomeAide.Additionally, there are patient assistance funds. These funds may pay for a patient’s car expense, electric bill, clothing for kids, prescription co pays to name a few.
