VNA - The Face of Care | VNA - Visiting Nurse Association The VNA Breast Cancer Treatment Support program is dedicated to providing services that empower women undergoing treatment so they can focus on recovery. This program provides the following at no cost to women undergoing treatment for breast cancer: For Douglas and Sarpy County residents: Companion non medical care services such as light  housekeeping, meal preparation, and other services. For Nebraska residents: Financial assistance for day-to-day expenses, such as utilities, or other  essentials. A trained VNA representative will work one-on-one with you to move forward in your recovery, whether in  person or over the phone, to determine your needs.   This new VNA/Komen partnership can help women in Nebraska by providing a limited amount of supportive  companion/homemaker services in your home with the assistance of a VNA HomeAide.   Additionally, there are patient assistance funds.
