Payment Options

When you or a loved one needs healthcare, the last thing you want to worry about is how you’ll pay for it. VNA will work with you to determine your specific coverage and help you access the care that’s needed. We are Medicare certified and accept a variety of payment options.

Following are some of the ways you may be able to pay for our services:

Medicare

A federally funded program, primarily for those 65 and older. Please visit medicare.gov for more information on the medicare programs for in-home care supported by VNA.

Medicaid

A program funded by federal and state governments, primarily for those with limited resources and income

Private health insurance

Employer-sponsored as well as individually-purchased insurance, managed care programs, and long-term care insurance

Health Savings Account (HSA)

A tax-advantaged medical savings account

Private pay/out-of-pocket

Using your own money to pay for services

Safety Net

For those in need of care with no resources and who don’t qualify for other programs

Please note that Medicare and Medicaid have precise criteria that must be met for eligibility, and that there may be limits to what they and private insurance companies will cover.
