VNA - The Face of Care | VNA - Visiting Nurse Association
Cooking Matters is a community-service program for those struggling to feed
their families on a limited income and who may be at risk for hunger and poor
nutrition. This nutrition education program connects families with food by teaching
them how to prepare healthy, tasty low-cost meals. Professional chefs and
nutritionists volunteer their time and expertise to lead hands-on courses that
instruct adults, teens and kids how to get the most nutrition out of a limited budget.
Cooking Matters is a program administered by the VNA with Share Our Strength and is
nationally sponsored by ConAgra Foods and Walmart.
